Senior and Reserves team return to action🟢⚪️

Our Senior and Reserve team begin their respective league campaigns this weekend as both teams look to hit the ground running.

First up our Senior men’s take on Arrow Harps under the lights in the Riverstown Arena on Saturday night. Manager Maurice Monaghan will be hoping to push on after last seasons 4th place finish, but knows nothing will come easy away to Arrows Harps on their impressive new astro pitch. With our core group of players from last season returning plus a few new additions, a fast start in the league will be crucial.

On Sunday morning our Reserve team make their first outing of the season to Brother Walfrid Park in Ballymote. After a disappointing campaign last season our Reserve team were relegated to the Dooley Express Division 1. However new manager Darren Finan will be hoping to put his stamp on his young squad as soon as possible, albeit it an away fixture to Ballymote in the first round never an easy one. Darren has coached numerous successful underage teams with Strand Celtic over the years and we wish him continued success on his return to the club.
