Our club welcomes the leadership by the league in setting out the plan to return to play. It will be great for the well being of all to get back on the park.

Under current protocols,  resumption of competitive football is allowed from Monday 7th June

The Committee have discussed the situation and  various options and have  come down in favour of the following programme

1 A short series from 7th June to  the end of July / Early August . a minimum of 3 games per team and semi finals and finals for qualifiers with trophies as in normal circumstances. Teams who do not qualify for playoffs may wish to continue with friendly games until the competitions are completed ( most likely  the end of July)

2  This will be a new competition amongst teams in existing leagues which terminated in  September 2020    (details to follow shortly)

3 When details of proposed Fixtures are circulated shortly , Clubs will be required to confirm their intention to take part. If some teams opt out we will continue with those who have agreed to participate.

3 We expect the  2021/2022  Season to commence  at the end of  August/  Early September As stated we plan to circulate details over this weekend with confirmation by Clubs by  May 23rd
